The Caribbean Stop began as a dream born from the vibrant streets of Jamaica and the heartwarming kitchens of Guyana. Marvin, a passionate Jamaican chef, honed his culinary skills in renowned establishments like Sandals Resort and Trelawny Beach Hotel. With a love for bold flavors and authentic cuisine, Marvin brought the essence of Jamaica to Baltimore, serving coworkers and friends who couldn’t get enough of his dishes.
Stacey, his Guyanese wife, brought her warmth and creativity to the table, sharing her knack for connecting with people and her love for family traditions. Together, they turned their passion for food into a thriving business. Starting with a Caribbean food trailer, they quickly gained a loyal following and opened the doors of The Caribbean Stop in 2019.
Every dish at The Caribbean Stop tells a story of love, culture, and resilience. Marvin’s expertise in crafting rich jerk chicken and oxtail blends perfectly with Stacey’s touch for community and hospitality, making their restaurant a true flavor destination.
Together, this husband-and-wife duo brings more than food to the table - they bring a taste of home and the promise that "Flavor Never Sleeps."
